KT PORTFÖY TEKNOGİRİŞİM GSYF NVESTS IN THE HEALTH SECTOR!

BulutKlinik is a SaaS platform developed to facilitate patients’ access to doctors and to help doctors to manage their clinics in an easier and more efficient way, and a fund of TL 1 million was invested in it by Teknogirişim Venture Capital Investment Fund supported by both Kuveyt Türk and Vakıf Katılım. In the present BulutKlinik covers over 3,000 doctors working at over 2,800 clinics and serves approximately 600,000 patients.
A SaaS platform developed to facilitate patients’ access to doctors and to help doctors to manage their clinics in an easier and more efficient way, BulutKlinik received an investment of TL 1 million from Teknogirişim Venture Capital Investment Fund established and managed by Kuveyt Türk’s subsidiary KT Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş.  and supported by both Kuveyt Türk and Vakıf Katılım.
Started by Ali Hulusi Ölmez and Yusuf Güleç having 15-year experience as a computer programmer and management executive in the health sector in 2016, BulutKlinik now covers over 3,000 doctors working at over 2,800 clinics and serves approximately 600,000 patients. BulutKlinik was accredited by both the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security for its services.
Hamit Kütük, Managing Director of KT Portföy Yönetimi, said: “So far Teknogirişim GSYF made five investments in different sectors. BulutKlinik provides online patient tracking service and online video conference service for patients and doctors, and is an enterprise providing innovative products increasing the quality and efficiency of healthcare services.  This investment we made represents an important contribution to the transformation of the healthcare sector which becomes more and more important in these times of the Covid-19 pandemic. We believe BulutKlinik will grow fast thanks to its innovative products and fill an important gap in this country first and in the worldwide afterwards.”
The BulutKlinik team emphasized that they developed a mobile application named ”Online Video Conference Service” and presented it to doctors and patients in these times of the global pandemic, and commented as follows:
“Patients can use the mobile application of BulutKlinik on their cell phones to make online video conference with their doctors, to receive a second opinion about their existing treatment plans, and to hear their doctors’ views on the results of their medical tests. BulutKlinik aims to ensure its users to receive online medical examination services at home and to complete its cooperation process with the private health insurance companies before the end of 2020. There are total 90,000 point of care health facilities including private sector clinics, company doctors and family doctors in Turkey. BulutKlinik provides all outpatient clinics and doctor’s practices with solutions. The users of BulutKlinik include many institutions such as Istanbul Airport and municipalities.”
Teknogirişim GSYF, established and managed by KT Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. and supported by both Kuveyt Türk and Vakıf Katılım, invests in enterprises in their early stages, having considerable growth potential and scalable business models.
