TEKNOGİRİŞİM GSYF STARTS 2020 WITH TWO NEW INVESTMENTS

Visiomex manufacturing machine vision-based quality control products and Oo-Kuma manufacturing 3D printers and consumables received investment funds from Teknogirişim Venture Capital Investment Fund managed by KT Portföy. Visiomex and Oo-Kuma will use those funds to expand their production range and to enter new markets.

KT Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş., a 100% subsidiary of Kuvey Türk being one of the leading participation financial institutions in Turkey, provides investment fund establishment and management services, continues to invest in enterprises focusing on technology from the Teknogirişim Venture Capital Investment Fund it established to invest in early stage businesses focusing on technology. Thus it invested in Visiomex manufacturing machine vision-based quality control products and in Oo-Kuma manufacturing 3D printers and consumables. An investment agreement was signed by and between KT Portföy, Visiomex and Oo-Kuma at a ceremony.

Visiomex aims to expand to global markets 

The first enterprise to receive an investment fund from Teknogirişim GSYF in 2020, Visiomex manufactures quality control products based on machine vision which is one of the branches of artificial intelligence for the manufacture industry. The management team of Visiomex consists of Hüseyin Alemdar, Adem Alemdar, and Kağan Tonyukuk Fikri. Visiomex manufactures products performing highly sensitive visual control, presence-absence control, geometric measurements, color sorting and positioning on components manufactured by original equipment manufacturers and industrial subsidiaries involved especially in automotive and household appliances. Also manufacturing smart desks, smart kiosks, plastic injection mold protection systems and serigraphy control products, Visiomex serves both domestic and global markets for many difficult and ambitious projects. Visiomex will use the investment fund it received from Teknogirişim GSYF to expand its production range and to enter new markets.

Oo-Kuma aims to become the principal actor of this sector 
Oo-Kuma, another enterprise receiving an investment fund from Teknogirişim GSYF, manufactures high quality, reliable and wide range machines, materials and software for 3D printer technologies in the worldwide. The management team of Oo-Kuma consists of Arda Kocaman and Gökhan Gönültaş. Performing research and development activities at Teknokent facility run by Istanbul Technical University and growing thanks to its highly qualified team, Oo-Kuma develops solutions, mass produces them at its own factory and delivers them to end users. Oo-Kuma aims to become the principal actor in this sector and continues to make investments to meet all kinds of need of its customers with regard to the 3D printer technology. Oo-Kuma will use the investment fund it received from Teknogirişim GSYF to expand its production range and to enter new markets.
